Practice-driven research and policy development
This year’s NKG proudly presents a Swedish-language segment on the NKG Congress on 12 June, organised by The Stockholm Gerontology Research Center (Äldrecentrum). The afternoon programme on the topic “From Practice to Policy: How Can Data-Driven Knowledge Development and Collaborative Research Contribute to a Sustainable Welfare Sector?”, will feature discussions about current practice-oriented research from various perspectives. The programme will kick off with an inauguration by the Minister for Older People and Social Security, Anna Tenje. Following this, Marianne Rundström will moderate a discussion with representatives from key organizations in the Swedish welfare sector, including The Swedish Association of Social Chiefs, The National Board of Health and Welfare, Swedish Dementia Centre, Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR), and SPF Seniors.
