“Ageing in a transforming world” was the theme of the 27th Nordic Congress of Gerontology (ageing research), hosted by Karolinska Institutet on 12–14 June and arranged by Karolinska Institutet’s Ageing Research Centre (ARC), in association with the NGF (Nordic Gerontological Federation), the Swedish Gerontological Society and the Swedish Geriatric Association.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the first congress, which has been held at different locations in the Nordic region every other year since its inception.
